Creator Atelier

Privacy

How we collect, use and look after your personal information when you visit our website, apply, or study with us in the Studio.

Last updated 22 October 2026.

Who we are

Creator Atelier is run by Creator Atelier Pty Ltd (ABN 74 701 035 636). When this page says “we”, it means Creator Atelier. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in how we handle your information.

What we collect

We only ask for what we need to reply to you and to run our programmes.

  • When you leave your details or apply: your name, email, Instagram handle, mobile number and your answers to the application questions.
  • How you found us: the link or campaign that brought you to the site (for example an Instagram post), and the page you first landed on.
  • To stop spam: a short-lived, scrambled version of your internet address, which we cannot turn back into the address itself, and a spam check from Cloudflare.
  • If you become a student: your account details, the programme and cohort you joined, your progress, and anything you choose to write or upload in the Studio, such as worksheet answers, notes, community posts, your vision and photos.

How we use it

  • To read your application and get back to you.
  • To run your programme: your sign-in, lessons, community and support.
  • To understand which of our posts and pages bring people to us.
  • To keep the site and the Studio safe from spam and misuse.

We never sell your information. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. What you write in the Studio, such as worksheet answers, notes and your vision, is never sent to analytics or advertising tools.

Website analytics

We use PostHog to understand how visitors use this website, such as which pages they view and which steps of the application they reach, and to watch recordings of visits in which everything you type is hidden. PostHog uses a cookie, receives your IP address and stores this data in the United States. We do not link it to your name or email. Recordings are deleted after 30 days. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, PostHog is not loaded.

Who helps us, and where they are

We use a few trusted services to run the website and the Studio. Some of them are based outside Australia, so your information may be stored or handled overseas.

Supabase

Our database and file storage: your details, applications and, for students, your Studio work. Where: Sydney, Australia.

Vercel

Hosts the website and the Studio, and keeps short technical logs. Where: Sydney, Australia, with some logs and network services overseas.

GoHighLevel

Our client records: your details and application answers, so we can reply to you. It also sends our emails. Where: United States.

Cloudflare Turnstile

A spam check on the application form. It looks at technical signals from your browser, not your answers. Where: Global network.

PostHog

Shows us how visitors use the website, including recordings of visits with everything you type hidden. Where: United States.

Mux

Plays course videos in the Studio. Where: United States.

Revolut

Takes payments on its own secure page. We never see or store card numbers. Where: Australia and overseas (Revolut is a UK-based group).

How long we keep it

We keep application details while we are in touch with you and for 2 years afterwards. We keep a student’s Studio work while they have access to it, and for 2 years after a programme ends, so alumni can come back to it. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

Your choices

  • Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct it. Students can also change their own details in the Studio.
  • Ask us to delete it.
  • Ask us to stop contacting you.

Email vanessa@creatoratelier.com and we will reply within 30 days.

Keeping it safe

Your information is stored in Sydney, behind access rules that let each person see only what is theirs. Sign-in uses one-time email links, and our own team accounts need a second step to sign in. If something ever went wrong that could seriously affect you, we would tell you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, as the law requires.

Questions or concerns

Email vanessa@creatoratelier.com. If you are not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
